Terms of use
These terms cover the stayveo.com website, its free tools and the Stayveo booking service for hosts. The short version: the tools are free, the service costs a flat price per property, you keep 100% of your bookings, and you stay responsible for your rentals.
Last updated: 10 October 2026.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Stayveo ("we") runs stayveo.com: free tools for short-term rental hosts and the Stayveo booking service, which gives hosts a booking website, calendar sync, payments to their own accounts and digital guest guides. By using the website you accept the parts of these terms about the website and the tools; by creating an account you accept all of them.
2. Free tools
You may use our calculators, generators and printable templates for your own rentals and business, free of charge. You may print, copy and adapt the outputs you create. Please don't resell the tools themselves or copy the website.
3. Information, not advice
Our calculators, guides and templates give general information. Platform fees, taxes and local rules change and depend on your situation; every fact we show has a date and, where possible, a source. Check your own platform statements and local rules, and ask a tax adviser or lawyer before relying on a result for a legal or tax decision. Templates such as rental agreements, house rules or registration forms don't replace legal advice.
4. Your account
The booking service is for hosts and property managers renting out accommodation as a business or in their own name. You must be at least 18, give true information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what co-hosts or staff do with access you give them.
5. Free trial and subscription
- Every new account gets a 30-day free trial, without a card.
- After the trial the service costs €9 per live property per month ($9 outside Europe). A property is live when it is published on your website. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes where they apply.
- The subscription is billed monthly in advance through Stripe. When you publish or unpublish properties, the number billed changes and Stripe prorates the difference.
- You can cancel at any time in your billing settings; the service then runs until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, your website keeps taking bookings for a short grace period; after that it stops taking new bookings until the subscription is paid. Your data stays in your account.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail; the new price applies from your next billing period after the notice, and you can cancel before it does.
6. Bookings and payments
You decide your prices, conditions and policies, and you make the contract with your guest: Stayveo is not a party to bookings, not a travel agent and not a payment institution. Guests pay you directly through your own Stripe or PayPal account, and Stayveo takes no commission. Stripe and PayPal charge their own processing fees, and refunds, disputes and chargebacks are handled between you, your guest and your payment provider.
Payment processing services for hosts on Stayveo are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service. By connecting Stripe you agree to it, and you allow us to share the information Stripe needs with Stripe and to receive information about your account and payments from Stripe. PayPal payments are subject to PayPal's user agreement.
7. Your website and content
You keep all rights to your content (texts, photos, prices, guides). You give us permission to store, adapt (for example resize photos) and show it, only to run the service. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload and that your listings are true. You are responsible for following the rules that apply to your rentals: registrations and licence numbers, taxes and tourist taxes, guest registration, safety rules, and the terms of any platform you also list on.
8. Guest data: we process it for you
For your guests' personal data you are the controller and Stayveo is your processor (article 28 GDPR). We process it only to provide the service and on your instructions as given in these terms and in your account; we keep it confidential and secure; the people who run the service are bound to confidentiality; we use the providers listed in our privacy policy and tell you before adding a new one, so you can object; we help you answer guests' requests and meet your obligations; we tell you without undue delay about a personal data breach; and when your account is closed we delete the data, unless the law requires us to keep it. You can ask us for information to show that we meet these obligations.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use Stayveo for listings you have no right to rent, for fraud or misleading offers, to send spam, to collect data you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, or to copy it. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules or the law, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep Stayveo available and your data safe, but we can't promise that it will never be interrupted. We improve the service all the time; if we remove an important feature you pay for, we tell you in advance.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost bookings, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that time. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer where they apply.
12. Ending the service
You can close your account at any time from your settings or by writing to us; export what you need first. We may end the service for an account with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms.
13. Trademarks
Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo are trademarks of their owners. Stayveo is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them; we name them only to explain how their fees and features work.
14. Law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by Polish law, without taking away the protection of the law of your country where it applies. If we change these terms we update the date above and tell account holders about important changes by e-mail at least 30 days in advance.
